- The air compressors supplying the receiver must have load/no-load, variable displacement, VSD or modulating controls. Systems that use modulating control must have and operate with blowdown controls.
- Replacement of existing end-of-life storage tanks with same-sized tanks are not eligible.
- A pressure-flow controller must be present at the facility to regulate the supply-and-demand pressure of the system.
- There must be a pressure differential between the supply end of the compressor and the pressure in the main header of the plant (minimum of 2 psig differential required).
- The facility must have no more than 3 gallons/SCFM of storage (i.e., gallon is for any existing tanks) to qualify.
- New storage tank must have a capacity of ≥5 gallons/SCFM.
