Who qualifies for Efficiency United program rebates?
All residential Efficiency United customers and contractors that serve these customers may qualify for Efficiency United program rebates.
Is it required to use a contractor to qualify for a rebate?
No, do-it-yourself projects for most energy-saving measures are eligible for rebates.
When do projects need to be completed to qualify?
The application must be received within 60 days of equipment installation date or by December 31, 2026, whichever comes first.
What are the housing type definitions?
• Single-Family – One- to four-family residential building.
• Manufactured – Prefabricated housing.

Why is my address not populating?

I am having trouble with the account validation process. What can I do?
If you are having trouble validating the address you entered, this issue can occur for a few reasons:
• The utility account may be too new and not yet reflected in our system.
• There may be slight discrepancies in how certain streets or cities are recorded (especially in areas with recent development or boundary changes).

Order and Scheduled Appointment Information
How can I view and/or print my online order or scheduled appointment confirmation?
You can view the information in the order or appointment confirmation email or in My dashboard > My Orders.
How do I track my order?
The tracking information will be included in the shipping confirmation email or in My dashboard > My Orders.
When will my order ship?
Typically, products are shipped within two to five business days after the order is placed. Shipping dates cannot be adjusted.
Appliance Recycling
Can I dispose of my fridge myself?
Yes, but it can be costly. You would need to find a way to move it, pay any disposal fees and ensure proper recycling. By participating in this program, we handle removal at no cost, pay you a $50 rebate and ensure your appliance is recycled safely and responsibly.
Is the appliance pickup procedure safe?
Yes, it is safe. We make recycling safe and easy for you. Our team will move your appliance out of your home, take it to our facility and recycle it responsibly. Our trained team uses proper equipment and safety gear to protect both you and our employees during pickup.
Do I need to clean out my refrigerator before pickup?
Yes. Your refrigerator or freezer must be completely empty. Please remove all food and ice before we arrive.
Are other appliances eligible for the program?
Yes, but only certain small appliances. However, the program only picks up smaller appliances – dehumidifiers, room air conditioners, mini refrigerators, and compact freezers – with an accompanying refrigerator or freezer. See program page for individual rebate amounts.
I’ve just scheduled a pickup. When will I receive my check?
You’ll receive your check within four to six weeks after your appliance has been picked up. If you haven’t received it after that time, please call us at 877-367.3191 or email [email protected].
