Required Documentation:
- Equipment specifications of both existing and new equipment. If the existing equipment's specifications not available, the efficiency must be confirmed.
- Applicability: Eligible for both equipment replacement and new construction projects.
- Baseline Efficiency: 81 percent annual fuel utilization efficiency (AFUE) or lower.
- Qualifying Efficiency Requirement: The new high-efficiency RTU must meet or exceed a specific AFUE efficiency level as outlined in the referenced table above.
- Exclusions:
- Redundant equipment or equipment with low annual run time hours are not eligible.
