This incentive is available for replacing fluorescent or incandescent refrigerated case lighting with LED source illumination. Fluorescent lamps, ballasts and associated hardware are typically replaced with pre-fabricated LED light bars and LED driver units.

Boiler specifications.
- Must be DLC listed.
- Lighting must be manufactured for use in coolers or freezers.
- Reach-in coolers.
- Minimum light output of 100 lumens/foot for center-mountedlights and at least 50 lumens/foot for end-mounted lights.
- Open coolers.
- Minimum light output of 100 lumens/foot.
- Minimum luminaire efficacy of 50 lumens/watt with a minimum CRI of 80.
- Maximum allowable color temperature is 5,000K.
- Projected lifespan should be at least 50,000 hours.
- Luminaries should be warranted for a minimum of 5 years.
- Cannot be combined with incentive for refrigeration savings dueto light savings.
