Required Documentation:
- Spec sheets for new control system
- Existing and proposed operating schedule.
- Proposed lighting control strategies.
- Projects >100,000 sf must export kWh readings from control system in an excel spreadsheet with maximum of 15 minute intervals over a 2 week period.
- Sites with existing lighting control or non-DLC listed systems may be eligible through the custom pathway.
- Applicability: Eligible for retrofit or certain new construction projects.
- Baseline Efficiency: Existing lighting systems without existing lighting controls.
- Qualifying Efficiency Requirement:
- Lighting control system must be Design Lights Consortium (DLC) listed.
- System must be centrally controlled with a reporting interface that is connected via hardware and/or wirless technology to all devices and luminaires both interior and exterior spaces.
- At least 3 efficient control strategies should be implemented such as occupancy sensing, daylight sensing, high end trim, luminaire level lighting control.
