- Existing pneumatic tool must be replaced with an electric tool.
- Other requirements would include:

- Existing pneumatic hand tool must be used in a manufacturer setting.
- Compressed air branch pipe lines to the pneumatic hand tool that will be replaced must be removed back to the compressed air main header.
- Qualified pneumatic tools will use more than 15 CFM per tool.
- The hand tool must be permanently installed. Portable hand tools or hand tools used for maintenance are not eligible for incentives.
- The tool must operate at least 400 hours per year.
