This rebate is for the purchase and installation of a heat pump hot water heater. Heat pump water heaters are the most efficient type of electric water heater, using 70% less electricity than traditional electric models.

Qualifications & Requirements
- ELECTRIC CUSTOMERS: Must replace an electric water heater
- Must have an energy factor (UEF) of 2.2 or more
- Must be 55 gallons or less.
- Must be a residential account holder of a participating energy service provider at the time of equipment installation.
- The application must be received within 60 days of equipment installation
- The equipment must be purchased and installed between January 1 and December 31, 2026.
- Rebates are available on a first come, first served basis and are contingent upon available program funding.
- Rebate cannot exceed the cost of the energy-efficient improvement.
