This rebate is for the purchase and installation of attic hatch insulation. An attic hatch cover is designed to cover and insulate the opening that lets you get to your attic from inside your house. This cover helps stop heat from moving between your living space and your attic, prevents air from leaking and saves energy.

Qualifications & Requirements
- GAS CUSTOMERS: Primary heating system must be natural gas
- ELECTRIC CUSTOMERS: Primary heating system must be electric.
- Scuttle Attic Hatch: Pre R-value must be R-0. Final R-value must be R-38 or greater.
- Pull-Down Stairs Attic Hatch: Pre R-value must be R-0. Final R-value must be R-38 or greater.
- Must insulate entire hatch and weather-strip perimeter of opening.
- Rebate applies to each insulated hatch.
- Must be a residential account holder of a participating energy service provider at the time of equipment installation.
- The application must be received within 60 days of equipment installation
- The equipment must be purchased and installed between January 1 and December 31, 2026.
- Rebates are available on a first come, first served basis and are contingent upon available program funding.
- Rebate cannot exceed the cost of the energy-efficient improvement.
