This rebate is for the purchase and installation of insulation installed in a basement. Basement insulation improves energy efficiency, helps with moisture control and makes your basement a more comfortable, usable space.

Qualifications & Requirements
- GAS CUSTOMERS:
- Primary heating system must be natural gas
- Existing/pre R-value must be less than or equal to 5. If existing/pre R-value is R-0, then final R-value must be R-10. Else if the existing R-value is not equal to R-0, then final R-value must be R-20.
- ELECTRIC CUSTOMERS:
- Primary heating system must be electric.
- Pre R-value must be R-5 or less. Final R-value must be R-20 or greater.
- Must insulate 250 sq ft minimum.
- Limit one (1) basement wall insulation rebate per home.
- Must be a residential account holder of a participating energy service provider at the time of equipment installation.
- The application must be received within 60 days of equipment installation
- The equipment must be purchased and installed between January 1 and December 31, 2026.
- Rebates are available on a first come, first served basis and are contingent upon available program funding.
- Rebate cannot exceed the cost of the energy-efficient improvement.
