This rebate is for the purchase and installation of insulation in a crawl space. Insulating a crawl space is highly important for energy efficiency, comfort, and structural protection, and can reduce heating and cooling costs by 15–20%. Proper insulation prevents frozen pipes, keeps floors warmer, prevents mold and wood rot and improves indoor air quality.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • GAS CUSTOMERS:
    • Primary heating system must be natural gas
    • Existing/pre R-value must be 0. Final R-value must be R-10 or greater.
  • ELECTRIC CUSTOMERS:
    • Primary heating system must be electric.
    • Pre R-value must be R-10 or less. Final R-value must be R-20 or greater.
  • Must insulate 250 sq ft minimum.
  • Limit one (1) crawlspace wall insulation rebate per home.
  • Must be a residential account holder of a participating energy service provider at the time of equipment installation.
  • The application must be received within 60 days of equipment installation
  • The equipment must be purchased and installed between January 1 and December 31, 2026.
  • Rebates are available on a first come, first served basis and are contingent upon available program funding.
  • Rebate cannot exceed the cost of the energy-efficient improvement.
