This rebate is for the purchase and installation of floor insulation. Insulating your floors helps create a thermal boundary between conditioned and unconditioned areas of your home. If you’ve noticed cold floors, drafts, or uneven temperatures between levels, insulating floors can help solve those problems without major renovations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • GAS CUSTOMERS:
    • Primary heating system must be natural gas
    • Existing/pre R-value must be less than or equal to R-11. Must insulate up to R-30.
  • ELECTRIC CUSTOMERS:
    • Primary heating system must be electric.
    • Pre R-value must be uninsulated. Final R-value must be R-19 or greater.
  • Must insulate 100 sq ft minimum.
  • Limit one (1) floor insulation rebate per home.
  • Must be a residential account holder of a participating energy service provider at the time of equipment installation.
  • The application must be received within 60 days of equipment installation
  • The equipment must be purchased and installed between January 1 and December 31, 2026.
  • Rebates are available on a first come, first served basis and are contingent upon available program funding.
  • Rebate cannot exceed the cost of the energy-efficient improvement.
