How it works
When the control device, typically a TV or computer, is on, the switched outlets will have power and the devices plugged into them can be used. When the control device is turned off (or goes into a power-saving mode), the devices plugged into the switched outlets automatically turn off and stop drawing standby power—saving energy and reducing your electric bill.

Customer Eligibility
- Must be a residential account holder of a participating energy service provider at the time of equipment installation. The application must be received within 60 days of equipment installation. The equipment must be purchased and installed between January 1 and December 31, 2026.
